Counterfeit Cosydream's could be Dangerous to your child.

*DANGER* Counterfeit Babymoov products 

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that several counterfeit 'Cosydream' replica products (photo no. 2) are currently being sold online and are dangerous for your baby. These copies of the patented Babymoov Cosydream do not ensure your child's safety during use and may contain chemicals which are harmful to their health. Here is what you need to know:

All our Babymoov, products are controlled by the French childcare equipment decree that binds childcare equipment manufacturers to ensure the safety of the products they sell, by conducting strict testing via independent bodies. In particular, they adhere to the criteria of the Reach regulations and do not contain any substance restricted by ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).  

Counterfeit manufacturers (such as JJOVCE and LavishMoms via Facebook) are infringing the rights of the BABYMOOV GROUP with these copies*, as well as by the unauthorised use of photos for which BABYMOOV owns the copyright. 

Cosydream sold via the shopping app 'WISH' are also counterfeit copies and are not safe for use.

We would recommend that our cherished community of parents only ever purchases Babymoov products from our online website babymoov.co.uk or one of our official retailers. You can view a list of these using the store locator on our website.

How to recognise the original Cosydream 

All of our comfort products have been designed and created in conjunction with medical experts, in order to provide the very best quality and safety for you and your baby.  

Our products carry a fabric content label with our address and the relevant production batch number, and the Babymoov brand label is also stitched to the product. 

In the vast majority of cases, copies of our products are visibly identifiable. For example, you might spot poor stitching, deformed fabric or an irregularly shaped product.

*Any infringement of BABYMOOV's rights constitutes a counterfeit that renders the perpetrator responsible in accordance with article L. 615-1 of the French intellectual property code. Furthermore, counterfeiting is a crime which is punishable by law.

Any perpetrator found to be in violation of BABYMOOV's rights faces a penalty of 3 years' imprisonment and a fine of 300,000 euros, in accordance with article L. 615-14 of the French intellectual property code. This is extended to 7 years' imprisonment and a fine of 750,000 euros where the crime is committed on the internet or as an organised group.
